Not making teams

It's really hard when you spend a lot of time trying out for a team, and put so much effort into getting better, and being good and don't make it. In my instance it was the bowling team. Today was the last day of try outs (they had extended the dates), and I played one of the best games of my life. I had been steadily getting better and better. Today I even went as far as to get a 153!! He then took me aside and said that I didn't make the team, but that I could still practice with them and be a back up. I guess it isn't so bad, but I was so disappointed. My BFF Lauren made the team, and so I am really happy for her.

I have always loved bowling. When I was little we lived in South Dakota for a month, and the hotel that we stayed in had an alley that we went to regularly. That's when I really started to like it. I went a lot with my friends in Sahuarita too. (pictured is my friend Katie doing the classic Granny roll).

I am sorry you did not make the team but being a back up is good also. When you guys come out here we will have to go bowling. I used to be on a team in a league but I have never been very good. Soooo I am sure you can beat me but we would have fun. Right!? You are so special to me. Nana
