Best Friends

Best Friends are so great to have in life. Through every stage of mine I have had them.

My first best friend was Jennifer, in Wilburton, Oklahoma. I don't remember her last name because I moved when I was 8; however, I will always remember how we met. She lived behind me and we kind of shared a back yard area. One day she was playing with her brother, and I was playing with mine, and then we just kind of played together. We wanted to do something else so our parents needed to meet. They did, and it turns out that they went to high school together, and worked at the same drug store. It's a small world!! From that moment on we were joined at the hip.

My next best friend was Annie M*****. She lived in Columbia, MO. When I first moved there we weren't that great of friends (second grade) but from third grade and on we were. We did everything together. It was nice to have her there for me when I found out that I was moving. It was really hard to do that because I had friends and a life in Missouri. A few days after I found out I was moving, her Grandmother suddenly announced that she was through with traveling. If her family wanted to see her they would have to go to her. She lived in Tuscon, Arizona. The same place that I was moving to. So I have seen her three times since i moved. Twice when she came here, and once when I went there. (pictured top left at the Tuscon Botanical Gardens)

My next best friend comes from living in Sahuarita, AZ. Her name is Megan G*****. I had had one friendship that didn't end well and she was right there by my side the whole time. Our friendship gradually grew over time. Even though she decided to do an online school during eighth grade instead of go to Sahuarita Middle School we remained best friends. She was with me during everything that has happened. For that I am grateful. (pictured on the last day of school in seventh grade with me on the bottom left)

Next comes my best friend Lauren N******. I have just recently met her. We met through people at Salpointe, my high school. Despite having no class' together, we quickly became best friends through shared interests. She is funny, and really nice. In fact, when she read this blog she asked me to write one about her so here it is Lauren!! ;-) (pictured top right)

Last but not least is not a best friend, but is in fact more like a sister. Her name is Joalle S******(Jo). She was one of my brothers friends, and I first met her when I became involved with a youth group that my brother had started attending. I went with him, and instantly became plugged in with Grace Oasis Youth Group. They were kind and caring. I loved the atmosphere. We went through life together. She has taught me things that I am forever grateful for. I was sad when she went off to college but I know that we will forever be kindred spirits ;-) pictured below
